What this covers: Everything from opening the box to seeing your content play. Your media player arrives already registered to your account — there's no pairing or activation step. Setup is just power, TV, and internet.
Before you start: A TV with a free HDMI input, a power outlet, and either an Ethernet connection or your WiFi password.
What's in the box
I. Digital Media Player · II. Power Adapter · III. HDMI Cable · IV. WiFi Antenna
Steps
- Power the player. Connect the Power Adapter to the media player and plug it into the wall outlet. It turns on by itself — a blue and a red light on top of the case show it's powered on, and the front display shows the time once it's running. (See How to connect your player to the TV.)
- Connect to the TV. Run the HDMI Cable from the player to any available HDMI input on your TV, and switch the TV to that input.
- Get it online. Plug in an Ethernet cable (nothing to configure), or run the on-screen WiFi setup with a USB keyboard. (See How to set up your internet connection.)
- That's it for hardware. The player is already registered to your account and appears on your Players page in the online app on its own.
- Put content on it. Sign in at app.screenfluence.com, build a loop and campaign if you haven't yet, and assign the campaign to your new player (see How to put a campaign on your screen). Your content appears on the TV shortly after.
Tips & good to know
- Until a campaign is assigned, the screen won't show content — that's normal for a brand-new player.
- Name the player something recognizable ("Front Window", "Lobby Left") as soon as it appears — hover over it on the Players page and click Edit.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing on the TV: check the TV is on the right HDMI input, and the player's lights are on.
- The front display reads "BOOT": the player hasn't started correctly — contact Screenfluence immediately at 1-844-772-7336.
- The player never appears on your Players page: it isn't online yet — re-check step 3.
